Jewelry Care

Jewelry Care:
- After purchasing any gemstone jewelry, I would recommend researching the stone to determine how fragile it is and whether it is water safe.
- Wire jewelry is more fragile than other types of jewelry, and while I make all my pieces as durable as possible, I would still advise caution with them.
- Do not use chemical jewelry cleaner on any pieces purchased from me! For pieces that may require cleaning, I recommend a polishing cloth, which should remove any surface shine from metals such as copper, silver, and stainless steel (which usually don't tarnish).
- For Resin I would suggest cleaning with a soft cloth and then polishing with any car polish.
Copper:
- I use Anti Tarnish Copper wire, but it can still tarnish over time from the elements, water and skin contact, but the effects can be minimized with proper care and cleaning. I recommend avoiding contact with water, perfume and lotion to keep this piece in its best condition, but if that's not possible, it can be cleaned with a polishing cloth. To keep your copper piece looking like new, I would recommend giving it a quick polish before each wear.
